Curly hair transformations at The Mane System are never approached as an afterthought. Curly hair behaves entirely differently to straight or softly waved hair, and it deserves a considered, knowledgeable approach that works with the natural pattern rather than against it. Every curl has its own movement, shrinkage, density and personality, and my focus is always on enhancing what’s already there... not trying to change it.

I’m able to source over five different curl patterns and more than 30 shades, allowing for an incredibly accurate match to your natural hair. Hair can be sourced in any method, giving complete flexibility when designing your transformation. While keratin bonds tend to be the most popular option for my curly clients due to how discreet and lightweight they are, every method is chosen based on what is best for you, your natural hair, your density, your lifestyle and your long-term hair health. There is no “best” method - only the right one for the individual.
All curly transformations are completely bespoke. During your consultation we look at curl type, porosity, shrinkage, density and how your hair behaves both naturally and styled. Placement, weight and cutting are planned intentionally to ensure the extensions move, sit and blend seamlessly; whether you wear your hair naturally curly, diffused or softly styled. This is especially important for fine or low-density curly hair, where balance and tension matter just as much as the end result.
I keep a small, carefully selected amount of stock, however most curly hair is custom ordered specifically for you. Bundles are sourced to match your curl pattern, shade, density and chosen method, ensuring the finished result feels natural, wearable and completely your own.
