TAPE EXTENSIONS
Tape Hair Extensions are one of the flattest and most discreet hair extension methods available, making them a comfortable and popular choice for many clients. They consist of thin strips of hair extensions that gently sandwich a fine section of your natural hair. Using a medical-grade adhesive tape, the extensions bond securely to your hair and to each other, creating a smooth, lightweight finish that lies flat against the head.

When tape extensions are applied correctly, cared for with the right aftercare, and removed professionally using a suitable remover, they should not cause damage to your natural hair. Tape extensions are typically applied throughout the full head and can be angled slightly to add soft fullness around the face, helping to create a natural and balanced look. They can also be combined with other extension methods, such as Weft extensions, to create a fully bespoke hair extension package tailored to your hair type and desired result.
All About TAPES
Tape extensions have come a long way since they were first established and there is a wide range on the market for different price points. There are 'injection' tapes available where the tab itself is covered with hair, to camouflage the extension into your hair for optimal discretion. I also work with an incredible company who offer some of the slimmest and most discrete tapes I've every worked with, and I am excited to offer this to my clientele.

A full head tends to be around 3 packs of hair, and a medium density can be achieved with 2 packs of hair. Tapes are also a great option to add fullness around the front of the hair, and one pack can be used for this.

They require refits every 4-6 weeks and like other methods, this is dependant on aftercare, lifestyle and your scalp health. Incorrect aftercare or an oilier scalp can alter how well the tape adheres and remains in the hair. Oiler hair or incorrect aftercare products can encourage the tape to slip, meaning a refit would be required earlier.

Removal and refit has come a long way since tapes were established, and I am proud to offer refits with no sticky residue, meaning the. hair doesn't need to be cleansed between refits and they can be removed and refit the same day.

Refits and installations are priced per weight of the extensions as these can be a full head method.
