KERATIN BONDS
Keratin Bond Hair Extensions, also known as Fusion Bonds or K-Tips, are one of the longest-established hair extension methods, trusted for their natural look and seamless finish. Individual pieces of hair are attached to your natural hair by encapsulating a keratin bond around both the extension and your own hair. This method involves no beads, no sewing, and creates one of the most discreet and well-camouflaged extension applications available.

Keratin is a natural protein found in both hair and skin, and is used here as the bonding agent. It is not a glue or adhesive, so it does not leave a sticky residue. Instead, the keratin is gently melted at a temperature lower than most straighteners and curling tools, then carefully re-formed around your hair to create a secure yet flexible bond. The result is a lightweight, natural-feeling extension that blends beautifully and allows for easy, versatile styling.
All About BONDS
Keratin Bonds are a method appropriate for filling around the face and also for full head. They are a fully customisable method - we can make the bonds as thick or as thin and small as possible - creating standard bonds and 'baby' bonds. This means we can adapt it to not only the texture and density of your natural hair - but also to the placement. For example, lacing around the face and nape with baby bonds makes for a more discrete fitting, and we can achieve fullness with standard bonds throughout the back and middle of the hair.

They require refits every 3 months - and can last longer. As your natural hair sheds (as it would naturally) overtime, the weight for the extension becomes too heavy for the originally sectioned piece of hair. This is why it is important to keep up to date with your refits, despite the ability for them to last longer.

The hair is removed by applying a solution to the Keratin, and then clamping it to break down the encapsulated area. They will then gently slide out of your hair leaving no damage.

The hair is is often used as 'one use' however, it can be reusable - but does need to be re-tipped with new Keratin as the Keratin itself isn't reusable. This can be done by myself and is priced separately. You can also transform your old Nanos, Weft or Tape extensions into K-Tips by the same method.
Some clients have two sets of hair extensions and choose to alternate them between refits so we can retip their last set of extensions whilst they wear the new set, and then work them in rotation. This is a suggestion, however, and isn't a requirement!

Refits and installations are priced per weight of the extensions as these can be a full head method - and re-tipping is priced similarly.
